We follow a PRO scheme plan that tests players skills and freestyle which gives players a target to reach as it is level based and the more practice the bigger the rewards.
Development - How does futsal help?
What we want to achieve as part of these tournaments is player development within Futsal, getting more of an understanding of Futsal specific rules and tactics which will then help them further down the line. Many countries that we admire for the technical skills of their players use Futsal as an aspect of their youth development. Ball retention, quick and skilful play, and tactical awareness are all major assets that the game of Futsal helps to promote. Futsal is played in a small area on a fast hard surface, which will help players to improve their speed of thought, which will allow players to make better decisions when under high pressure situations or in tight spaces in games. Futsal is played with a small number of players, which allows players to have more touches on the ball which helps players to become more comfortable on the ball. The Futsal ball with its reduced bounce allows players to get good control of the ball without it bouncing away, which gives players a greater confidence on the ball and encourages players to be more creative.
Why Futsal?
Futsal as a game naturally brings players into regular one-on-one situations with their opponent, encouraging players into quick decision- making as to how they overcome these scenarios; this could be through beating the opponent with a skill, or through clever passing to a team-mate. Futsal brings out the fundamental skills in such a positive way that helps the players express themselves.
